About the event
Sem Jansen, the singer of Leif de Leeuw band, transitioned from woman to man 4 years ago. In January 2023 the album “Uncle Sem” will be released, at the same time the theater tour “Who the Fuck is Britt” will start. On this album and performance, Sem, together with his former self, tells the whole story of his transition from woman to man and from singer to singer.
Sem & Leif will then play a number of songs from the new album 'Uncle Sem'. Supplemented with songs by their heroes, Darrell Scott, Brad Paisley, Chris Stapleton.
They accompany themselves on acoustic guitar, mandolin and lap steel.
